This policy explains what personal data RAAD Records ("RAAD", "we") collects when you book through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).
What we collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, the ticket type and quantity, and any promo code you use.
- Instagram handle: only for events that review applications before booking.
- Gender: on couples & mixed groups events only, the gender you declare for each guest, so the door can check the group.
- Companion emails: if you choose to give the email of someone in your group, we store it with that guest's ticket. We never contact them: every ticket is sent to you.
- Payment proof: the transfer screenshot(s) you upload, which can show details of your bank or Instapay account.
- Attendance: when your ticket is scanned at the door.
- Technical data: your IP address, which our servers log and use to protect the site against abuse.
We do not receive or store card numbers. When card payments become available, card details will be entered directly on our payment provider's secure page.
Why we use it
- To take and confirm your booking, verify your payment and send your tickets.
- To check you in at the door.
- To contact you about your booking or the event, such as reminders and changes.
- To recognise returning guests across our events, keep the guest list safe and prevent fraud.
- To let you know about future RAAD events. Ask us to stop at any time and we will.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that run this website for us, and only as far as they need it:
- Render (website hosting) and Neon (database), which store it on our behalf;
- Google (Gmail), which delivers our emails;
- Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the website;
- Paymob, our card payment provider, once card payments are live;
- our door staff and the venue, who see your name and ticket status at check-in.
We may also disclose data where Egyptian law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Payment screenshots are deleted automatically 30 days after the event.
- Booking and attendance records, and the guest profile that links your bookings, are kept so we can run future events and meet accounting obligations. Ask us to delete yours at any time.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie, which keeps your booking page open and protects our forms against forgery. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.
Form draft: while you fill in a booking form, your browser keeps a copy of what you typed on your own device, so nothing is lost if you leave to check Instagram or make a payment and come back. It is not sent to us until you submit. It never includes your payment screenshot, and it is deleted when you submit, after 24 hours, or when you press Clear.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Booking data is visible only to authorised RAAD staff, and the QR code on your ticket contains no personal details.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email info@raadrecords.net from the address you booked with. We will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
